One Major Factor to Improving Your Subscriber List

Anybody who wants to make serious money on the Internet MUST build a list; there’s no other way around it. A large list is like your own personal ATM. Just tap into the list a new product that your subscribers need, and you have money coming in. I’m going to tell you one of the most important facts to keeping your list alive.

Retention – This is the step a lot of people forget. Think of it this way. Let’s say I get 20 subscribers total to my list (I’m going to be rich!) and they all buy my ebook (I AM going to be rich!). Now I don’t pay attention to any of them because for every 5 that drop, 5 more sign up every month. At this rate, after 6 months I have 20 subscribers still buying my stuff (the first thing I will buy is a house), however, if I had sent out newsletters, thrown out some freebies, and just kept in contact with them, I would have 50 subscribers buying my stuff.
Of course, those are with perfect numbers but you can see my point. Retention keeps your old subcribers with you and not using new subscribers to fill in, thereby increasing your chance for profit.
